I worked for over a year at Artı Yaşam Yaşlı Huzur ve Bakım Merkezi, where I had the opportunity to get to know the world of elderly people and understand their needs on a deeper level. This time was not only a valuable professional experience but also a lesson in life and empathy. Every day, I tried not only to care for the physical health of the people I worked with but also to provide them with the emotional support that is just as important.
As a medical student, I know how challenging the process of aging can be, both physically and mentally. Often, it’s not just the illnesses but also the loneliness and feeling of being unneeded that accompany older people. My goal is to help them feel understood, respected, and loved.
Helping others is my passion, and taking care of elderly people has become something that truly brings me joy and satisfaction. I believe that as a future doctor, I can do something truly good, giving older people more peace, health, and a sense of security.

I have worked in elderly care for two years in Turkey, where I gained valuable experience in providing physical and emotional support to older individuals. Following this, I continued my work in elderly care at a hospital in Poland, where I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in a clinical setting. During my time in both Turkey and Poland, I focused on improving the quality of life for elderly patients, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity were maintained. This experience has deepened my commitment to supporting older adults and strengthened my passion for pursuing a career in healthcare.
